Indigenous Resistance: Now and Then

Official Trailer

We explore how it was for our people to go through statehood, blood quantum, Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), boarding schools, stripping our language and dance away, and what that has done to our mental health. With that, we have a hopeful spin on this narrative and show how resilient our people are.
This is our side of the story. From in front of the camera to behind.
